I feel very tired and run down. Uni 5 days of the week, plus an additional 20 hours of work outside of uni. I wonder how long it will be before I fall sick from over work and too little rest..... It would be nice to do some art again, but considering that I have very little free time as it is...................... Hope all are well and that sort of thing. Current Mood: tired |

I do not know what is up with my of late.
I just do not have any motivation or energy of late. I just can no tbe bothered. And LJ is stuffing me around so that I have to write everything out properly instead of using apostraphies.
I have had a rather average to shit week so far. Not an increadably good performance at work on Monday or Tuesday, almost nothing achieved for the past week and a half at uni. All I want to do is crawl into bed and sleep until next year. That would be so lovely.
That, or instead of doing uni and work, I just want to do art. I have had one or two ideas that I want to try and work on, at least in sketch format, but time is lacking.
Anyway, enough whinging from me Current Mood: flat |

Rant
It is that time of year again where it seems the majority of the populace (or the most vocal part) lose their minds and what little IQ they had to begin with - that's right Big Brother started. This means that if there is anything on 10 from now on, that you have to add at least another 20 minutes onto it's starting time since it never seems to end on time. Not like I want to hear meaningless and drunken dribble from idiot losers. I'd just catch a train or two if that was what I was after. I'd just love to wake up one day to the news headline: BIG BROTHER HOUSE DESTROYED BY TERRORISTS: MILLIONS SAVED!!! Current Mood: annoyed |

I'M STILL HERE
hey all. Been ages since I last posted I know, but things have been really busy with me since uni finished last year. I have just started honours, but have to do job-hunting as Centrelink will only give me the Dole. The lasy who I have to dojob search training with is useless and needs to be fired as she spands the whole time giving motivational speeches instead of helping write resume's and the like. the lady at the front desk of the job search training wants to catch up with me for coffee some time, so I may have to explain to her cerain facts about how thebirds and the bees work for Simon. Honoours is going really slowly as all the centrelink crap is eating away too much time. Also, some of the stuff I am trying to read is really hard. Anyway must dash as I've had a horrible day so far and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I just hope the interview I have tonight proves the current trend wrong. Current Mood: grumpy |

Bloody Weather
do you think that the excessive heat will help solve Melbourne's obesity problem in the same way that those sweat rooms do you think? You know the rooms people go into to sweat out large amounts in the hopes that they will lose weight? Just a thought considering the weather of late... |

video clip post and that toy of mine
Hey All I know it's been a while between posts. Been so busy, but not exciting. I think I'll have to give Antarctica a miss this time around and I'll apply for it instead next year when it becomes vacant again. On the bright side it will give me a year to truly make the application shine. Other thing I wanted to post about is that the friend I mentioned in the last post who is with Goodnight Thomas, is having a video clip launch tomorrow night (well tonight now technically). It's free entry and all are welcome so if any of you are interested feel free to come along. If you haven't heard it yet the song the clip launch is for is called Close Your Eyes. Go to http://www.myspace.com/goodnightthomas if you'd like ot hear it. The launch is: Thursday 21st December 8 pm Glitch Bar and Cinema 318 St Georges Road North Fitzroy Also last time I tried to put up a link to a toy I have been paying off and it didn't work so here it is again. I can't wait to get him home. http://www.toyvault.com/cthulhu/Giant%20Cthulhu%20-%20Large.jpg Isn't it adorable!?! Current Mood: thoughtful |

First things first: thank you to those who offered their support about the job I'm trying to apply for. I will let you all know one way or the other how I go. Secondly: I met a fellow recently that I am rapidly becoming good friends with, and he is in a band called Goodnight Thomas. This is a shameless plug for him on my lj just because I can. I recommend that you all at least have a listen. If you like what you hear, you can get their album from "The Last Record Store' on Smith Street, or order it on-line from Cumbersome Records. If you'd like to listen to a sample of it, go to: http://www.myspace.com/goodnightthomaslastly: I really need to get into town again and pay some more off that lay-by of mine. I saw a teddy bear the other day and I had to lay-by it, I think it's so cute! www.toyvault.com/cthulhu/Giant%20Cthulhu%2 0-%20Large.jpg Isn't it adorable!?! Anyway, I'd better get back to the washing Current Mood: apathetic |

an awesome job!
I saw the best job advertised on the weekend that I've decided to apply for so everyone wish me luck on it! It pays $140k-$160k for a 15 month contract and all I have to do is equipment maintenance and take readings! There's one sort of catch though that I'm looking at as a positive lifetime experience anyway - it's in Antarctica. I so want this job! Current Mood: Full of Hope |

Yesterday's exam (Solid State Physics) went well, I passed I just don't know how well. Got to catch up with a new friend last night, but it's kind of depressing as I only just met him and he's moving premanently to Sydney mid December. Oh well, that's life I suppose. Not much else is new, just cramming, trying not to let life in general get to me too badly. I'll keep you all posted on developments -Me P.S. I know I've mentioned it before but www.despair.com is an awesome site, and they have just recently put up some new demotivational posters. Current Mood: blank |

Hey all Just thought I'd share an experience the other night. My housemate and I were wondering down the street to have a sticky beak at a broken water main around 1am on Monday night I think it was. We must have looked a sight. She was all rugged up with a glass of baileys, and here I am in boxer shorts and my coat. As my coat was done up, you couldn't see that I was wearing anything beneath it. Nothing suss, honest! Anyway, I'd better get studying for this exam that's tomorrow Good luck everyone and hear from you all soon Current Mood: calm |

I think yesterdays exam went okay - and thank you to those of you who chased me up about it. I should get enough to pass, now it's just a matter of how well I pass. In other news, got a call from Centrelink today, I always dread these. Looks like I'm going to have to try and fund myself through Honours if I want to do it. I was hoping for more Centrelink so that I could get obsessed over my project. This also means that I may have to stay at RMIt depending, I am now a true scientist in that I will have to follow the grants and scholarships...I'm going to also have to look for a part time job. not impressed, I was hoping to put the work thing off for another year. Oh well had to happen sooner or later. Current Mood: unimpressed |

Scary crap!
Well that was interesting. Just got back from Swinburne to talk to one of the lecturers about honors next year. It was interesting. I just hope that I'm up to standard. Sounds promising though, as he offered to look into a summer work scholarship. Promising, but scary. Current Mood: scared |
